Senior Auditor - Banking/PFS
To support our growth in the financial services sector, we are expanding our audit department and we are seeking for talented and motivated audit professionals with relevant expertise.
In particular, we are seeking experienced professionals with at least 3 years in international audit firms in a similar position with proven knowledge in at least one of the following sectors (hereafter the “Sectors”):
- Banking;
- Professionals in the Financial Sector (PFS);
- Payment institutions/electronic money institutions/AISP.
Your role will be:
- To supervise an audit team composed of junior members;
- To support in preparing the audit planning documentation;
- To interact as needed with fellow professionals from other departments;
- To work under the manager’s coordination and produce reliable deliverables that are ready for manager/partner review;
- To provide for the timely completion of the assigned engagements and continuous communication with the client, manager and the audit team;
- To establish close working relationship with the client, to fulfil engagement expectations and assess needs;
- To appraise the professional performance of the audit team members.
Your profile:
- At least 3 years proven experience in external audit for companies in the sectors defined above within a widely recognized international audit network;
- You have good analytical and numerical skills, appropriate accounting knowledge relevant to the Sectors as well as advanced understanding of International Standards on Auditing;
- You are generally IT literate and have advanced ability to use audit tools and other IT applications;
- You are eager to continuously enrich your technical knowledge and you have either obtained or you are seeking an audit qualification recognised in the EU;
- You are able to act as part of a team of professionals;
- You can demonstrate advanced communication skills when dealing with clients and ability to interact with high profile institutions;
- You have passion for delivering quality work;
- You speak fluently French and/or English. German is an asset;
- Experience in external audit obtained in a Luxembourg practice is a distinct advantage;
- Experience and proven knowledge of the regulatory requirements for EU companies active in the Sectors is also an asset.
