Manager/Senior Manager - Banking Risk Advisory

We are currently looking for a Manager/Senior Manager to join our Banking Risk Advisory team.

 

Within the Risk Management department, you will:

  • Lead risk and regulatory transformation projects in connection with the upcoming update of the EU CRR/CRD banking package;
  • Implement and optimize regulatory reporting process;
  • Deploy solutions in relation to capital and regulatory ratio optimization;
  • Develop and implement procedures and policies in relation to the institution’s risk such as risk appetite, credit risk, forbearance and NPE policy, market risk, etc.;
  • Lead and contribute to our in-house valuation tool;
  • Run strategic financial resource management initiatives (e.g., balance sheet management, RWA optimization);
  • Design analytical modeling with a focus on development and validation of financial and nonfinancial risk models, portfolio/instrument level valuation models and strategic planning and forecasting models;
  • Measure and manage nonfinancial risk, including third party risk management, reputation, climate related risk fraud, and cyber risk;
  • Enhance risk measurement frameworks, such as Economic Capital and Stress Testing;
  • Manage Asset / liability, interest rate risk, and liquidity risk management.

Qualifications:

  • You hold a Master degree in quantitative finance, engineering, econometrics or related studies;
  • You have an experience of at least 5 years in of relevant consulting or industry experience, either at a top-tier strategy consulting firm or a financial services institution; prior experience with finance, risk, and strategic planning related topics;
  • You have a deep knowledge of the European Banking package regulation (BRRD/CRR/CRD) & related Reporting framework (Finrep/COREP);
  • You have a practical experience in coding languages (Python, SAS or Matlab);
  • Excellent analytical & pragmatic mindset combined with relevant organizational skills;
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgement;
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to develop strong team and client relationships through business-oriented mindset;
  • Self-starter attitude, keen to learn and build expertise;
  • You are fluent in English. French / any other language would be considered as an additional asset.
