Junior Financial Services Tax Teams
The position is required to support the increasing demand from financial services clients (banking, insurance and investment fund/asset management industries) that are impacted by operational tax matters such as, amongst others, FATCA, the CRS, the DAC 6, the US Qualified Intermediary (QI) regime, and the upcoming DAC 8 and EU TRACE. Though this will be the primary area of focus, the successful candidate will be encouraged to work on a broader variety of tax advisory topics, ensuring a varied, challenging and exciting career path.
The Financial Services tax team is providing tax advice to clients in Luxembourg and abroad.
The role:
We are seeking an individual who is able to work in a dynamic environment whilst managing a diverse workload.
The successful candidate will need to have:
- Attention to detail and strong communication skills: ability to digest, interpret and communicate detailed technical information;
- Strong interpersonal skills, to work with other team members;
- High motivation to contribute to the expanding team, capability to learn rapidly and start to work independently on projects, conducted from the Mazars offices or from the client offices;
- The necessary skills to ensure high quality work, within agreed deadlines;
- The right spirit and motivation to learn, demonstrate the ability to understand and communicate detailed technical tax information, and follow closely tax developments, in particular operational tax developments, but also local and international corporate tax developments;
- Experience with one or several operational tax matters is considered an advantage.
